The trip of the Belarusian team to the International Young Naturalists Tournament in Belgrade

Under the sponsorship of Science Around Us, a team of Belarusian school pupils took part in the 3rd International Young Naturalists Tournament – IYNT-2015 3rd International Young Naturalists’ Tournament

The team consisted of pupils from different educational institutions in Minsk. It included (left to right): Kirill Mikhailovich (Lyceum of the Belarusian State University, moved to 11th grade), Gleb Penyazkov (Gymnasium No 29, 10th grade), Fiona Kukharenko (Gymnasium No 50, 9th grade), Anton Kolb (Captain, Gymnasium No 50, 9th grade), Maria Voloshina (Gymnasium No 50, 11th grade) and Vladimir Polyakov (Gymnasium No 50, 9th grade). Team leaders were Elena Kostenko and Oscar Rabinovich, employees of ITMO NASB.

The result of Belarusian team’s performance was successful – they won awards for the third place and Bronze medals. This is not the first appearance of Belarusian school pupils at the International Young Naturalists Tournament – two years ago, a team of students from Gymnasium No 29 of Minsk has been awarded Gold medals at the first such tournament.
