Do Not Touch the Exibits!

It is only possible to explore the world through active interaction with it i. e. playing with it, touching it, tasting it… The authors of the interactive exhibition “Obvious and Incredible” fron the Copernicus Scientific Center in Warsaw used this approach as a basis for their exhibition that allows visitors to understand what light is and how the basic optical laws work.

A huge kaleidoscope, distorting and moving mirrors, a camera obscura, holographic objects (so real that one might want to pick them up), and optical puzzles are among the exhibits. You can and you are supposed to interact with each object. This is a great opportunity to show the children (and adults too) that science and magic make a whole as well as to support the research interest and the pursuit of knowledge!
